I bought this for my birthday about seven years ago and I only part with it to pay some past due bills. It is perfectly portable, super powerful, and is a hybrid of analog and digital. Just a really big, powerful sound, this would work in a performance setting no problem. It comes with some extra presets that I added, like Twin Peaks and a decent electric piano. Of course you can just turn it to a square, triangle, etc. to have the fully analog experience. Really enjoyed every minute with this.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt does not have the factory box, but it does come with a weather proof hardcase (Monoprice 12182 $140) and it has never left the studio. There's room in the case for cables, headphones, etc. It might have a few super minor scratches just from moving it around, but nothing I can spot. It also has wood details, so it looks super sleek on your desk. Oh, and the logo is still there, it's fine, I just like to put electric tape over it, peels off without any harm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt takes a little getting used to, the design is such that you can choose a preset, but as soon as you touch a knob, it will drop into manual mode, which can be an abrupt change to the sound but once you understand this you can just prime it from the start. It also has a 'lifeforce' to it... what I mean is it plays different if you let it warm up, and if you leave it alone like for a couple of hours, its sound will drift! So it's not some cold, exacting instrument, it really has a temperature to it. Such a big warm sound, and the built in sequencer is easy to use and doubles as a small set of keys so you can play it on its own. I had planned to take this camping, with a portable power supply, but I never got the chance to travel.
